Lauren Fensterstock
In Each and Every
Dowling Walsh, Rockland

A solo show of recent sculptures and works on paper. Encrusted with crystals, faceted glass, shells, and semi-precious stones, Fensterstock’s sculptures absorb and reflect light, suggesting jeweled meteors, lotus blossoms, grottos, and mysterious terrestrial forms. Accompanying the sculptures is a series of ink and crystal-embellished drawings she created at Civitella Ranieri, an artist residency in a 15th-century castle in Umbertide, Italy.

Transmissions Quilts: Soft Edges

Our project space features a Kindling Fund awardee, Transmissions Quilts. “Soft Edges” is a show of trans textile objects from Maine including quilts, tapestries and art. Transmissions quilts for trans people were all made and delivered in New England. Midori Morrow will be sharing their cyanotypes, silk tapestries and other glowing orbs of light. Esper Gaspardi will show plaster molded elk hooves and cyanotypes from the desert.
